We left Kathmandu, another early start to which we are used ... here we live with the rays of the sun and the night, when it comes, calling each one in their homes until the first light of day Next ... and so we left at dawn on the horizon and an old baba tikas and delivering what we suppose would be prayers of good luck for the trip, which here, as roads are often required.
That will bring India this time? That came asking us on the bus, with hopes for Darjeeling, the city of te, and montanya people, and hoping that something encotraba we failed to see the first or we could not ... a return trip to try take us with all possible world, which ultimately did so lacking, because it alone ensenyar us the way and opened our eyes a dramatic ciuidad hanging from the Himalayan hills, gray but colorful, steep and narrow streets leisurely walk, or out of breath so ... And as always, not all stage but with whom share it, and in this case the best roommates encotramnos travel, a Frenchman and a Greek, Clement and Vato, loaded with energy and above and what sooooo many laughs over ...
And the best hostel we've been so far with city views from the top and Mount Kanchenzonga front of us (the third highest in the world montanya), was forged from a manayana dawn until lunch, with many Parties, the idea of \u200b\u200bgoing to Sikkim, this piece of pequenyo
land surrounded by Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan, so close now, so remote, had to try and so we did .. . in two days was all prepared, special permits, which have contralateral super for people not to cross into Tibet, these Chinese ... a lot of packets of noodles, biscuits and some cheese from yak, trekking boots again and a great plan, reocrrer Sikkim from town to town, shortly little, as they have to do things ...
We took a 4x4 and up and down the hill to the first town, Namchi.Aunque We knew what we were delighted to get more or less I think surprised us all, but ordered the rest India, Sikkim is a state which claims to be independent, in which plastic bags are banned, you can not smoke in the street and its inhabitants, mainly Hindu but with a strong influence Buddhist, is the most smiling and hospitable people we've met so far. And this of course surrounded by the Himalayas, forests, and rivers and lakes mixed with tea and rice Plantation ... amazing ...
The next day they had to walk a good Tendong subidita up on top of a hill, supposedly the best views of Sikkim, and of course, cloudy ... but still a special place to let it cook for about Clement noodles with vegetables rich in gas camping, vegetables, vegetables and more vegetables, I do not get along very well with her vegetarian for a month and a half that we did not test the meat, and do not know that Hector puts face when he watches a chicken ....
After changing plans and after a couple of times we headed Yuksam Legship stopping to eat at the edge of a river to a temple with a giant statue of Hanuman, the monkey god .... alone?, at least it seemed, because we live all those experiences that everyone we spoke, feeling constantly observed, and most of these people who are not accustomed to both tourists. What is painted a relaxed Acoma ended up being the show of the whole people ... we looked at groups of people from the temple, from the village and from the road ... and a group of 4 Ninh: where are you?, such as your name?, go look, you are 4 and us! and your wife? wing that is smoking !!!!!...
But the truth is great to see what they are curious and want to know and learn that they have ... like that man without speaking a word of English explained to us that he had been attacked by a tiger in the jungle and into grrrrraaaauuuuu !!!!! and we wound ..... ensenhaba and common in all is that they did not leave until we did, no matter who spend hours ....
At
Yuksam we had another crossroads. Starting point for the Goecha The trek, which takes you veeeeery cerquita Khangchendzonga foot, of course it was in our budget, we had asked for 1000 euros to 4 in Darjeeling for an 8-day trek with food, porters and yaks and cooks and all the fish .... but to get there and talk to the guy and explain agency, look, our budget is very tight, long travel and a bit of haggling we took it for 18 euros a day Almost half times ....... tension (it is a hard trek, from 5000 meters), about to break up the group but not in the end decided that if we had gone together to Sikkim, we were going together.
So we headed to Lake Kechopari, 4 short hours walking through forests and waterfalls (and some road) to reach one of the lakes most sacred to Buddhists, sandwiched between tropical forest Mountains, surrounded by monasteries and a place full of energy. After another super food gas camping on the shores of Lake deciding where to sleep, pull up the hill up to reach a monastery and sleep there .... ?.... monastery destroyed, but it turns out he had a family that offered room and board, all inclusive for 250 rupees a day, which amounts to less than 4 eurillos sindo all very basic but adequate.
All this in one of the most idyllic landscape you can imagine .... on a plane on top of a hill, surrounded by green hills on one side the lake, on the other a river and behind the Himalaya, living in the light of day waiting for sunrise and sunset, a good book (the children of midnight, but in English) and good companhia, what more could you want?
For the family of Pala, a man of 83 with a daughter anhos
7!! and a few more before of course, ex-chef of the Dalai Lama and retired, who opened the door and treated us so incredible. There was all the family, children, nephews, Ninh groups running and laughing .... prettier than heidi you !.... really, one of the best experiences we've lived here ... and a time traveling of the most beautiful sunrises ....
Pala's daughter, who spoke very good English told us they were building a school, because Ninh had to walk 2 hours daily round two back to school closer (keep in mind that this is on top of the "hill" if so be called), and after three days playing with the same Ninh could not refuse to provide assistance Pequenho to finish school, so also on this side we had our Pequenho part of "voluntary" failed in Kathmandu ... . .. we are eternally grateful

After 3 days where Pala, a relax a little and other upriver exploring and discovering waterfalls in the middle of the forest, roll Coronel Tapioca Pelling decided to move toward our ultimate destiny .... a town Sikkim two of the oldest monasteries in the area and a tremendous view of the Khangchenjunga ..
Alli with all the luck in the world, we stayed at the Blue Hills Hotel, Reel 4 stars, with what little they're used!! haggling and bargaining Rs 200 per room per night ... or 3 euros !!!!!!!.. and the best, from our window they saw the Mountains .. TOO AWESOME dawn from the bed for 3 euros ... no us .... and we thought it was the duenha Cunha Pala's daughter! so all in the family, who deserved it.
And here, back to Darjeeling, where we waited a few days of relaxation and "rest" of our adventure in Sikkim, with our habiacion cool and the best views ... until it was time for the separation of the team, Clermont shot to Kolkata, Vato to Nepal with a quote for the new anho Goa with us! and we ..... back to Benares, with the impression that the city was waiting for us again with stories loooong day after day, and from here we write to you to know of us, we miss it .. ...
We cast you ..... FIRM Mlenge !!!.... see ya!!
I want !.....
