How To Dress Like 80's Grunge

3rd chapter, 3rd flag. Cuzco, Peru.

From the Imperial City of Cuzco, recently installed in the hostel "Your Home", we return to updating this space mistakenly called Amerikombi.

Amerikombi Previously on ...

Bolivia is already past for this socio-anthropological journey: gone are Uyuni, Potosí, Sucre, Samaipata, La Higuera, Vallegrande, Cochabamba, La Paz, Oruro and Copacabana . Peru is the new country and Machu Picchu the next issue.

Below, the review.

Cochabamba February 28

FM
Cuesta facing, in the main square of Cochabamba, the 2nd Parachute Regiment, who is wanted for the theft of a fried chicken

The two days spent in the city of Cochabamba had the following conclusions: first, is a city quite Fuler, there is plenty to do. Second, the accommodations are rather bleak, but flights and 4 out of every ten are named Escobar. We do not know if the locality, the Colombian drug lord or a hero of Bolivian history. However, we noticed the genuine hospitality of Cochabamba to go to the town of Angostura, 15 minutes from downtown.

Oscar Claros, Yina his wife, his daughter Noelle, Johnny Wilson and the whole clan entertained us at length during that afternoon.

Bolivian Singani-staple, "Beer-to-sprite and drinks Fernet were decorated an unforgettable evening overlooking Lake Angostura.

Oscar, the great host, we are persuaded that we missed the carnival of Oruro, the most impressive party Bolivia. The point was that we had already taken passage to La Paz, convinced we were not able to get tickets and lodging for this event. So we decided to travel to La Paz anyway and pass one of those days in what was, jodisticamente speaking, the best of the trip.

La Paz - Oruro - La Paz, from 2 to 6 March

If Oruro was the best Fuck, La Paz was the worst bard. Taxi drivers and private drivers seem to aim at the highest possible pedestrian death to his credit. The horn is the official language and yelling are the national anthem. We did not want to spend much time there, as soon as we got organized to go to the Carnival and then to Copacabana, a town on the edge of Lake Titicaca. To do so short this paragraph La Paz, I would say that we stayed at the Angelo Colonial, although it has a picturesque name, is a pocilguita. Gonella Messrs. Diaz and Torres shared a room with twin beds while the "Teatro Colón" costs and "Sea Level" Campos slept under the same set of sheets. No comment on the latter.

Carnival entire life. Carnival
the afternoon of 5 March. Not fit too many words to describe what this festival generates in the city of Oruro. From all over Bolivia come to him and the country grinds to a halt during the first days of March. The extras are incredible level (costume, orchestra, etc). And there are people around the world. To give an idea, imagine that bleachers are installed throughout the Rivadavia Avenue between La Plata and Nazca. There moving the groups from the early hours of Day 5 until dawn the next day. Bolivians suck to the core and the accompanying tourists. The foam, bombuchas and water pistols are the preferred fun and "hit a espumazo the gringo "was a sport in which we excel with flying colors. Ask for the anecdotes of gingerbread and old.

Copacabana and Isla del Sol, from 6 to 8

Urged to know what had inspired the boys write the symbol for such a work of contemporary music in Argentina, carry backpacks and went to Copacabana to Isla del Sol know

the 3800 meters on the level of the Little Mermaid we know the famous Lake Titicaca. Not dull or lazy, we take the right hand of our Almirante Campos ability to navigate the treacherous waters of great basin aquifer.

The stunning and breathtaking sailing trip took longer than we thought, as we enter into a "palm" that would be like the chaff of the sea. No wind, so you can not sail. Fortunately, we had 4 pairs of human arms with enough capacity to put out as Vikings twelfth century.

We left the oars, the sail we smoked, ate, slept and when that area emanated his first fiery rays of light returned to ship, but this time due to the Isla del Sol, or Inca language, ILKA QUIKEMA.

And even arrived here with the story: we reached the island, walked about one hour and returned to Copacabana. The next day we entered Peruvian soil and the first star appear set foot in Cuzco. As I write these lines we find in the hostel your home, which would come to be our temporary home, even though it is the owner's home, which in turn should have your home, where he lives with his family, because here no we saw. Tomorrow we start a 4-day tour that culminates in the famous Machu Picchu. Return to the city of Cuzco, and report on the latest news about our adventures on Peruvian soil.
